All Abroad!

Introduction:

Italy is special. As you travel through the country, you will see that transportation changes as you go to different parts of the country. Italy's transportation system is very similar to what you're familiar with in the United States. Wow! Go ahead and take 20 seconds to look at the pictures that I've included here. What do you see? The cars here look very similar, if not the same, to cars in the United States!

How do people get around?:

So far, I have noticed that people use cars, buses and bicycles to get around! If you go to a place that has lots of people, then the locals start to use the train system. What's a train? Do you know who Thomas the Tank Engine is? It's like that, but these trains are really big and can go all over the country. They travel really quickly and are able to carry lots of people at once.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

So far I have used very little transportation. Next week, I will be taking an adventure to see some famous sites in Italy. Keep a lookout for my next article to find out more about my adventure.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Transportation various a lot by where you are in Italy. I am located in one of the small towns here where everything is so close that I can walk to it in under five minutes.
