Parents can have a wide range of jobs from doctors, to construction workers, to shop owners and chefs!
School starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 1:30 PM to go home to eat lunch.
Students either walk to school or arrive by car or public city bus. There are no school buses here! If you are older and your parents give you permission, you can arrive and leave by yourself!
Most children eat lunch at home with their family or at a restaurant. Some parents who have to work can pay for their child to stay at school at eat at the "comedor" which means cafeteria!
The children here learn Spanish and English in school. When they are in fifth grade, they start to learn French too!
Common names for girls are Maria, Valentina, Alba and Sofia. Common names for boys are Hugo, Marcos, Diego and Jose.
They study many of the same subjects as you! Math, Language, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Physical Education (PE) and Music. Most like PE the best!
