In Kazan, I took the bus and a taxi.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

Since I haven't visited in three years, my favorite place in Kazan was my host family's house. They live in a house that's built like a log cabin and is made of wood. I have a lot of warm memories from living here, so returning feels like going home!

Other Travel News from this week:

I also visited the Kazan Kremlin. This is the original city's fortress from before it become part of the Russian Empire. This happened about 500 years ago. While the Kremlin has been rebuilt since then, you can feel all the history inside its walls!
