Daily Life

What is your family like?:

Family is a personal topic: usually Koreans do not talk about the details of their family in depth. I have a grandmother and mom. They live together, and that is common in Korea to live with your parents. I do not have any siblings.

How do you get around?:

I have my own car because I am 30 years old. Sometimes, I take the public bus or subway. Driving in Korea is fun. I love Seoul, of course, more than Daegu. There are no good roads in Daegu to admire. In Seoul, however, there are a lot of beautiful sights to see.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I do not really care about what I wear. I wear anything. I wear normal clothes. Sometimes I wear suits for work or workout clothes for the gym. But I usually wear what everyone else wears on the street.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

I like to watch YouTube. I used to read a lot, but lately I haven't because I've been so tired. I really like to go out and drive by myself. I like to drive across the Han River to admire the view. Driving is nice because I feel really relaxed. I also like to eat delicious food and go to the sauna. Saunas are very popular in Korea. A sauna is a big bath house. The sauna I usually go to has seven different types of bath, including hot, mud, salt, and jade baths. My sauna also has three different dry heat rooms, and a space to shower and scrub.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Korean, Chinese and English. I am learning Russian.
