Hunt for the Kiwi Burger

I usually don't crave them, so when I do eat a burger it is a special experience for me. Although a burger may seem very common in America, every restaurant does their burger differently. The way they prepared the patty at this restaurant  along with housemade pickles was very tasty. I usually don't care for pickles, but these were enjoyable. The curly fries were very standard, however, but I enjoyed the barbeque sauce. I was not disappointed by this burger experience. Milo has a similar taste to chocolate milk. New Zealand has the best milk I have ever drunk, so the Milo drink was also very enjoyable.

How is the food prepared?:

The ingredients are all locally sourced. The beef patties are ground fresh daily using New Zealand beef. The patty is then flame-grilled, and all the sauces are made daily as well. The pickes are also home-made. I really could taste the difference, and I will tell you this burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had!  Although I am slightly disappointed, they didn't have the typical "Kiwi burger". I still really enjoyed the burger that I had been craving.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

The locals recommended this burger joint as the best in town, which made me feel more connected to the city itself. I feel as if I have connected to a part of their local tradition. The meal also reminded me of the great burgers I have had at home in the U.S.A.
