The beds appeared tiny – people were a lot shorter back then!
This week, I got to do a bit of local travel, exploring neighborhoods in Barcelona. Some of my favorite neighborhoods so far include el Gótico (or Gothic quarter, within the old walls of the Roman city), Eixample (which means “expansion” in Catalan – it was the expansion that connected the older medieval towns into one big city), and of course Horta, where I am staying now!
