The week started with clouds and light rain, making the day very dark and gloomy. By the end of the week, it began to feel like the fall season I am used to at home--blue skies, a nice chill in the air and the smell of changing leaves!
In my town, Námestovo, I usually see many cats as I walk around. They usually hang out together and enjoy the warm sun! While on my hike, I saw a frog in the creek and a slug on the hiking path. Luckily, I did not run into any bears, which are common in Slovak mountains and forests!
So much to choose from! While I really enjoyed seeing the snowy mountains, I really enjoyed my hike in Slovak Paradise National Park. The park is most known for its waterfalls and creeks where hikers climb ladders and cross wooden bridges. It was a great adventure, and the changing fall leaves were beautiful as well!
