The farthest place I went this week was the marché, which is about 2 miles from campus.
The farthest I’ve travelled since I got to Ifrane was to Fez, which is a city about 42 miles from my university. It was a school trip, and we visited museums and explored the city. Later, I’ll be heading to other cities to do more interesting things!
I mostly get around by walking, taking school vans and riding in taxis. Taxis in Ifrane don’t have meters, so you need to know the price before you get in. You pay with coins instead of paper money.
The most interesting place I visited was the marché. The marché is very big and busy, but when I shop, I usually go to three areas. One area has cooking and school supplies. Another area has many small food shops that sell vegetables, fruits, and meat.
