Andorra's Bus System

Introduction:

Here in Andorra, I walk a lot to get around. Fortunately, it's a very walkable city, and I always enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. When I'm not walking, I'm on the public bus! There are six different lines that go to all seven parishes of Andorra. I'm most frequently on the L1 and Express lines to get to the school where I teach.

How do people get around?:

In Andorra, people use many ways of getting around, including walking, driving cars and motorcycles, and using the public bus. There is also a bikeshare system in which you can rent a bike for 30 minutes to get around. The Andorran government is trying to get more people to use the public bus because it is more efficient and environmental than using a car. I use the public bus system most often, but also I walk a lot of different places as well because it's great exercise!

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

I love using the bus in Andorra! It is very simple to use, with only six bus lines available in the country. When I have had questions about using it, the drivers and my fellow riders have been very nice.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Unfortunately, it's not yet very connected to the culture and environment.
