Traveler Bio

Molt de gust (Nice to meet you)! My name is TJ Sell, but I introduce myself as Tim to people when traveling since it's an easier name to pronounce for non-native English speakers. I am 25 years old, and I grew up in a small town called Belvidere, Illinois. I went to the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) where I studied Spanish and biopsychology. After graduating from university, I moved to Washington, D.C., where I first worked at a higher education research and technology company and then at a PK-12 school system as a data analyst. I like numbers just as much as I like languages, so during my time in D.C., I also volunteer taught at a non-profit that provided English classes to adult immigrants to the United States. My career in education and volunteer teaching experience led me to apply for and receive a U.S. Fulbright Fellowship to teach English and American culture in Andorra. In this role, I work with students ages 16-25 and university faculty to help improve their English skills. I live in Andorra la Vella (Andorra's capital) and am awestruck by the beautiful nature surrounding the city. I am excited to share my Andorran adventure with you and cannot wait to learn more about you!
