How was the weather this week?:

The weather in Denmark in the winter is not very nice. It rains a lot, and sometimes the wind can be very strong! It's also very dark. The sun rises around nine a.m. every day and sets around 3:30 p.m.

What animals did I see this week? :

I see seagulls every day, but this week was special because I got to visit my friend Freya (pronounced "Fry-YA"), the harbour porpoise. She lives about an hour away from my house in a research facility called Fjord and Baelt (pronounced "Fe-YORD and Belt"). She got tangled in a net almost 20 years ago, and the scientists at Fjord and Baelt saved her life by bringing her to the facility. Her enclosure is very unique because it connects to the sea, so Freya gets natural seawater, fish to chase and all sorts of other sea creatures to keep her company.

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

At Fjord and Baelt, there is a wild seagull named Jacob (pronounced "YA-cob") that they have trained to come and do tricks for them in exchange for fish.
