Let's Make Ramen!

Introduction:

While many of us have tried ramen before because it is cheap and easy to make, most people are used to just eating the noodles. But in Japan, ramen is so common you can find it on every corner. And in most cases, it is much fancier than what we are used to and just as inexpensive!

Here's a fun fact: while ramen has been around since the 1600's, instant ramen is a fairly new invention! It was created in 1958 by a man named Momofuku Ando who founded the brand Nissin foods, which you can find in pretty much every grocery store in the U.S.! Wow!

What food did I try?:

I am trying ramen. It is a Japanese noodle soup that comes in many different flavors! One reason it is very popular is because you can customize it very easily! The choices for toppings are endless.

How did I feel when I tried it?:

Today was the first time I tried being fancy and adding toppings that are popular in Japanese restaurants as well as using chicken broth instead of noodles. I felt really impressed with the results! It changed the quality of regular ramen dramatically!

How is the food prepared?:

Firstly, you gather all of your ingrdients. I used a fancier brand of ramen called Sapporo Ichiban, green onion, egg, and seaweed (called nori in Japanese.)
Next, you put your water or broth in a pot and bring it to a boil.
