I travelled nearly all the way across France from Aix-en-Provence to Paris. The journey took about 3 hours by train and covered 400 miles.
So far, since arriving in France, I have travelled to both London and Paris. To get to London, I flew for about 2.5 hours, but it is also possible to get to London without flying but by taking the train from Paris that travels under the English Channel. I prefer travelling overland (by train, car, foot, etc.) than by air!
I took the Paris Metro (an underground train system), busses and a speed train from the South of France to Paris. Also, I did a ton of walking! Walking is my favorite way to experience a new place because you get to see a lot of small details you would not notice if you were in a car.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Louvre Museum in Paris! As someone who is interested in art history, I was amazed by how large this museum was, and I was very excited to see many of my favorite artworks on display here. The Louvre is home to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, one of the most famous paintings in the world.
