This week's weather has been all over the place! It was sunny but brisk when I first arrived in Paris but has been rainy and windy the past few days. Instead of raining all day, it rains in short bursts but stays overcast. To go outside, I need a raincoat and warm clothes.
Before I left for Paris, I saw a hedgehog in Aix-en-Provence! I was completely shocked by this, because I did not realize that hedgehogs can live in the wild, but my host mom said they are as common here as squirrels are in the United States.
Watching the storms form over Paris has been interesting. It gets very windy suddenly, then the sky gets darks and grey, and it starts pouring. While I don't love cold weather, I do not mind the rain!
