Every week I got more and more excited to share with you all that I was doing, seeing, discovering and tasting. Almost every day I quickly whipped out my phone to snap a picture while saying, “Oh! I can’t wait to show this to them!” You all helped me pay attention to small details in nature, think big about culture and history, listen closely to the traffic around me and explore forgotten places far and wide. Without you, I know these past 12 weeks would not have been the same.
I can say with confidence that I am incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to share my travels in México with you all. You are all incredibly attentive, kind and wonderful students, and I am so happy to know you. Although we won’t be starting up again next semester, I hope we will see each other in Brooklyn soon (or maybe even México!). Thank you for being wonderful listeners, energetic travelers, and open-minded thinkers.
