The Ghanaian cedi (GHS). 1 USD equals about 10 GHS. It's important to always carry cash as a foreigner because not all establishments accept cards. This is because my school gave each student a 15-bottle pack at the start of the program and provides water bottles at our dinner buffets Monday through Friday, so I typically just take 2 every night, and that's enough for me.
