This week, my new home city experienced typical Asturian fall weather. We had a few sunny days, but most days were cloudy. It is especially foggy here in the mornings when I walk to my bus stop, and it's fun to watch the fog burn off as I ride the bus to work. We also had a number of rainy days here, which are common. Some days it rains from when I wake up to when I go to sleep, and other days it's cloudy with a few showers scattered across the day.
On Friday, my day off work, I hiked along the Senda del Oso trail to see a Cantabrian bear living in semi-captivity. The bear is named Molina and she is cared for by a bear conservation organization in the area. On the way to see Molina, I came across cows, sheep, goats and a few cats and dogs that live in the villages I walked through.
