The trail follows a valley that cuts through the mountains, so the views along my hike were fantastic. My friends and I couldn't believe the mountain and valley scenery that some people are lucky enough to call home.
In other nature news, I visited the lovely Parque Invierno in Oviedo, which is a fifteen-minute walk from my apartment. This park has tall, mature trees and lots of wide paths, although it is kind of a maze. I am planning to return for a run sometime soon, before the winter weather sets in.
Also the San Francisco Park, which sits in the center of the city, is slowly being decorated for the holidays! I know it's early, but I can't wait to see how festive and warm the park looks as the holiday season draws closer.
