Traveler Bio

Hola! Hello! My name is Siobhan, pronounced "Sha-von," but everyone here calls me Shio. I’m an only child and grew up in New Hampshire with my parents and cat, Kibsy. I went to college outside of Boston at Tufts University where I studied economics and sociology and spent a semester in Madrid, Spain.

I am currently living in Costa Rica for two years with an organization called the Peace Corps. Costa Rica is a Spanish-speaking country in Central America known for its nature and wildlife, like sloths, butterflies, and monkeys! In the Peace Corps, I get to live in a different country, speak a different language, and live with a different family. I work at the school, helping students here learn English, and I also help business owners grow their businesses. Outside of this, I love to read, run, and bake. My favorite animal is a cat, and my favorite color is purple.

I'm so excited to share my journey to Costa Rica with you... let's explore together!
