La Raphaela Del Ecuador

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

"My mom drives me to school and picks me up during her lunch break. School is a little far from my house and I can't take the bus by myself."

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

"I eat lunch at school but when I go to my grandmother's, I eat a small lunch again. My mom usually buys food like rotisserie chicken or makes soup. I don't like soup but I have to eat it. My favorite food is chocolate, but my mom tells me that is not food."

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"I go to a bilingual school. The majority of the day we learn in Spanish, but I take English classes and my social studies class is in English. Hola is hello in Spanish."

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

"My best friend is Carolina, which is a popular girl's name in my school. But Raphaela is a popular name, too. There are two other girls in my class with the same name."

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

"I study math, science, social studies, science, English, gymnastics and art. I am really good at math but I think I really love art."

What is your homework like?:

"I have a lot of homework every day and a lot of projects. Projects are usually fun unless they are English projects. Those are hard. Thankfully my mom helps me a lot. During my last science project, I had to design the digestive system and I used Play-Doh to mold the different organs."
