Horses and Spiders in Taiwan

How does it use its environment to survive?:

Horses: They forage for food in the woods when they get the chance and stick to open ground as much as possible. Even though they have no predators in Taiwan, the horses don't know that, and they spook very easily. Any loud noise or sudden movement can send them running for safety.

Spiders: They use the environment to pick a location for their web, and then to build it to catch their food.

What can harm this creature or plant? Are we worried about it?:

Horses: The horses here in Taiwan don't need to worry about much! Horses are a prized and rare possession here. My family takes very good care of its horses.

Spiders: They need to worry about a couple of factors, all of them having to do with people. The two biggest problems are people squishing them and pollution from pesticides. Pesticides are poisons that farmers put on crops to prevent insects from eating them. Unfortunately, some pesticides kill all insects, including spiders, even though spiders eat the other insects.
