This pop-up will highlight their original characters with a travel and picnic concept.
I'm going on one more membership training (MT) trip with the International Yonsei Community (IYC) organization. We'll stay near the beach, cook Korean food, and play games!
I'm even going to Taiwan to see my friend John, who's also from Kentucky. We'll explore the capital city, Taipei, and visit Lambai Island. I'm excited to practice speaking Chinese; I studied Mandarin in middle school and college!
I'll be going to the Busan One Asia Festival (BOF), one of the biggest K-pop events in Asia! I'll see performances by groups like ATEEZ, NCT WISH, P1Harmony, and more. It's a huge celebration of K-pop and Korean culture!
I'm also hoping to visit Namhae Island, one of the most beautiful places in Korea. It's surrounded by lots of smaller islands and has awesome places like sheep farms, rice terraces, and even a German-themed village! It's also the hometown of K-pop star San from ATEEZ.
One Last Thing...
Before I go, I want to say thank you. Thank you for coming along on this adventure with me. Even though we were far apart, I felt like I had a crew of curious and kind students traveling with me every step of the way.
When I was in fifth grade, South Korea felt like a faraway place I'd only ever see in pictures. I never imagined that just nine years later, I'd be living here, meeting people from around the world, and experiencing life in a totally new way. That's the amazing thing about growing up—you never know what adventures are waiting for you.
