The rainy season is starting in Botswana, which means the heat of the day is broken up with thunderstorms. You can expect the mornings and middays to be sunny, with thunderclouds and high winds beginning to roll in in the afternoon. You can get all kinds of weather in a single day! We even recently had a hail storm!
I saw lots of farm animals! The most common animals you can expect to see in the village are cows, goats, donkeys and chickens, along with a fair share of stray dogs. Farm animals are free-range here, meaning they can go where they like when they like! You can always hear a cow moo, a donkey bray, a goat bleat, or a rooster crow!
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was a giant millipede!
