I don’t understand the lyrics, but I enjoy the instrumentation and the vibe that it sets.
A group and I went to a cocoa farm and we were able to try some fresh cocoa and chocolate. The white flesh of the cocoa pod tastes really sweet. We were told to suck on it and not bite, because it is extremely bitter if you do.
I am currenlty reading the book Homegoing by Yaa Gyesis, who is a Ghanaian-American author. The first time I read the book was a couple of years ago, but after visiting the slave castles a couple of weeks ago, I decided to reread it. It has been interesting connecting things the author described in the book with what I saw in person.
I didn't play any sports or games this week.
