Japanese, the national language of Japan. But since I live in the campus for international students or International Studies, I have definitely also heard English being spoken by the students here.
The currency used in Japan is the Japanese yen (¥)! A ¥100 is almost the same as $1. I like to convert the Japanese yen to U.S. dollars every time I spend my money, so that I can control my spending. It is quite easy for me to convert between the currencies. I just pretend that there is a decimal point before the last two digits of the price; for example, I calculate an item that costs ¥485 to be roughly about 4 dollars 85 cents.
It is about the same amount for a water bottle in the United States, which is ¥100 or $1.
I LOVED the ramen that I ate in a neighborhood ramen shop! It was the perfect food for the cold and gloomy Osaka weather!
I listened to the songs on my Spotify playlist which consists of RnB, Hiphop, K-pop, Nepali and Indian music. But if there is one song that I have been listening to non-stop from my day of arrival in Japan, it is most definitely "Love Yourz" by J.
