It was fall break last week, and it might have been my favorite break yet! To kick things off, the twins and I took the Eurostar train to Amsterdam for four days as soon as our break began. I definitely prefer riding the train over flying. Why? Well, there’s so much more legroom on the train, no hidden baggage fees, and even free Wi-Fi! Rather than dealing with the usual stress and chaos at airports and delayed or cancelled flights, we felt relaxed on the relativelky short four hour train ride. It was also nice to see the English countryside from the train windows.

As soon as we arrived in Amsterdam, we hit the ground running. Months ago, we’d bought tickets to a music festival called A.M.F., featuring D.J.s like John Summit and Hardwell. It was my first-ever dance music festival and it completely exceeded my expectations. The second we walked into the stadium, we could feel the bass vibrating off the walls and floor. We also saw thousands of lights pulsing in rhythm. The crowd was massive and everyone seemed connected through the music. I didn’t think I would know any of the songs, but surprisingly, I did.
