To wrap up the weekend, we went to a new club in London on Saturday night, and I dressed up as a pirate. My friends' and my costumes weren’t our most creative, but I was impressed that we managed to pull off a full Halloween weekend in a country that doesn’t really celebrate it to begin with. After this whirlwind weekend, we recharged on Sunday. We stayed in, ordered food, and watched movies all day, taking a break from the nonstop excitement.
This week was exactly what I needed at this point in my journey, with a mix of adventure, friendship and pure fun. It reminded me why I wanted to study abroad in the first place: to explore, to say yes to new experiences and to find comfort in unfamiliar places.
