This week, I have traveled for around 300 miles! I went to my school four times this week to teach, which adds up to around 50 miles. I also traveled to Santiago for our mid-week meeting and to Ferrol (a city around 100 miles north of Vigo) this weekend to visit a friend.
So far during my journey in Spain, I have already traveled for around 1,290 miles! I started in Spain's largest city, Madrid, for our orientation, and then took a train out to Galicia. Since being in Galicia, I have traveled to a number of other cities, including Santiago, A Coruña, Lugo and Ferrol. I am so lucky to get to visit such cool places!
During a typical week in Vigo, I generally get around with a mix of walking and a bus. I take the bus every day to the school I teach and to my Spanish language classes. If I am going to a restaurant, the beach or the city center, I will walk. This week, one of my teachers drove me to Santiago in her car for our teacher meeting. Usually, if I am traveling to another city, I will take the bus or train.
