The weather this week has been warm and mostly sunny. Daytime temperatures have generally been in the 80s, with some days approaching 90°F. The mornings have been much cooler, with temperatures in the 60s, which has made a big difference while traveling by bicycle. There has been very little rain, although I have seen a few clouds along the way.
I have been trying to plan my riding around the weather. I like to get on the bike early in the morning while the air is still cool and then finish riding around 1:00 p.m. By then, the temperature is usually well into the 80s and the afternoon heat is building. Starting early has made the riding much more comfortable, especially on longer days.
