The weather this week was very sunny! We are ending the dry season and starting the wet season soon. "Dry season" means the weather is hot and there is little rain, making the environment very dry. "Wet season" means it rains many times a week, making the environment very wet. If you lived in Uganda, would you like dry season or wet season? (My favorite is the wet season because the rain helps crops grow which makes local Ugandans happy!)
This week, I saw many cows, pigs, goats and chickens. I see these animals every day since they are the most common animals to find here. Uganda is considered an agrarian nation, which means its people rely on agriculture to make money and live. Agriculture means farming plants and raising animals, such as the cows, pigs, goats and chickens I see every day.
