This week has been chilly, but sunny! There is still a little ice on the ground from the last time it snowed.
I don't see many animals during the winter, because they're all hiding from this chilly weather!
I went on two hikes in the past week, so I saw some beautiful sights in nature! First, I went hiking in the Šumava National Park with some friends. It was snowy and beautiful, and the trees were covered in frost. I also went hiking in Terčino Údolí, which is a beautiful park and national monument near my town. I went with another teacher from my school and her family. The best sight there was a frozen waterfall!
The Czech Republic is usually very cloudy in the winter, but this week we've had lots of sun!
