The weather has been very rainy this past week. Bristol fall weather is in full swing right now, and the temperature will creep down to the high 30s and usually does not get past the high 50s in Fahrenheit. Due to the rain, the "real-feel" temperature is often much colder. It's been so chilly that I've finally worn my gloves for the first time since being in the U.K.
I've seen many pigeons on my walks to class or visits to the gym. Pigeons are a common sighting in the U.K. and remind me a lot of being in New York. I suspect the pigeons will continue to remain through the rest of fall and winter. Occasionally, if the weather is not very windy or rainy, I will see seagulls hovering outside of my bedroom window. To my surprise, I have not seen any people out with their dogs this week, and I believe the rainy conditions may be the culprit.
