As we inch closer to spring, I have reached an important milestone in my journey abroad. I am now six months into my Fulbright experience in the United Kingdom. Living and studying abroad has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. Reaching this point has reminded me that this journey did not happen on my own. It truly took a village of mentors, teachers, friends and supporters who encouraged me to pursue opportunities beyond what I once imagined for myself. Because of that support, I have been able to study on a full scholarship and conduct meaningful research while building a community away from home.

I am especially grateful to Dr. Emani Collins and her 12th grade classroom for following along my journey through Reach the World. Knowing that students in Atlanta are learning about life in the United Kingdom alongside me has made this experience even more enriching. During my time at the University of Bristol, I have grown academically, professionally and personally. Some of the highlights from my experience so far include:
