It is still the rainy season here in the Philippines. Last week, there was a typhoon (a strong storm with lots of rain and wind) that passed through the island of Panay. Thankfully, this week there were no storms in the forecast. Instead, the weather was sunny and breezy during the day, and it rained almost every afternoon and at night.
In the cottage where I live, there is a family of four cats that are my roommates! The mother cat is named September, and she has a one year old son named Gremlin and two six month old kittens named Sprite and Siren. Every day, I feed the cat family lots of food and play with them!
Outside of my house, when I walk around, there are a lot of animals literally hanging out on the side of the road! These include many dogs, some of which are pets while others are strays. I also see cows and goats tied up along the side of the road, eating grass. And a lot of families have roosters and chickens that they will raise for food and eggs, and these birds will peck around in their family's yard.
