Traditional Dishes and Foods in Switzerland

Introduction:

While in Swiss culture, there are not a lot of traditional plates, there are some essential components to every meal. For instance, cheese and bread are two essential components to Swiss culture. Switzerland, on top of its delicious and natural cheeses, is known for its chocolate. There are, however, two famous traditional dishes that are widely known, which are cheese fondue and raclette, which is a natural Swiss cheese. 

What food did I try?:

Of the two popular traditional dishes I mentioned above, I have only tried cheese fondue so far. I have also tried the delicious Swiss chocolate from various shops and local stores.  

How did I feel when I tried it?:

To start off, the chocolate is very creamy and delicious. I can tell the difference between American chocolate because instead of it tasting very milky, it has a cream base and sticks to the roof of your mouth. I have tried this famous brand called Toblerone, which comes in many flavors such as dark, regular and white chocolate. I have personally tried the regular with almonds and the white chocolate, and both have been delicious. I will make sure to take a lot back home for myself and friends and family.

I also had the chance to try cheese fondue.
