Travel in Indonesia

The transportation that I truly enjoy in Indonesia is riding a motorcycle. It is hard to get stuck in traffic since you can weave past the cares. I always make sure to wear a helmet. I also like taking ferry boats between the island, because I love to watch the blue ocean and the horizon expand. Disturbed by the water splashing off the boat, flying fish will leap out of the water and fly some distance away before plunging back into the sea.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Indonesia is an archipelagic country. Just as something magical is full of magic, Indonesia is made up of an archipelago, a group of islands. 17,000, by official estimate! Given the amount of open water people here have to navigate, ships and airplanes are used between islands. On some islands, there are railroads and trains. More often, people travel on the roads, often by motorcycle.
