I travel a lot by airplane, especially between countries. Most weekends, I am somewhere other than Croatia. When I am in Dubrovnik, I use a car to travel between work, running errands and home. As a Croatian citizen, I can travel easily within Europe because of the European Union, which is a group of countries that work together like a team. It allows people to move between countries easily, almost like traveling between states in the United States. In the past, this was much more difficult.
I like to keep things simple and comfortable. You will usually find me wearing T-shirts and sneakers.
Though I have limited free time, when I have some, I make sure to make the most of it. I love watching soccer and have been going to major tournaments, like the World Cup, since 1998 with my friends and family to cheer for Croatia. I also enjoy hiking, going on long walks and finding hidden food spots that are not crowded with tourists.
I speak Croatian, English and Albanian fluently, and I know a little Italian and German, too. In Croatian, you can say hello by saying “Bok.”
No, I travel too much to take care of pets. Even my plants do not survive!
