My night with the neighborhood mutts was quite peaceful. Street dogs are mostly passive around humans, but they're not opposed to me petting them. The two dogs I followed looked really healthy. Of course I'm worried about them. If they eat something that's bad for them they could get sick. And if they ever get too distracted they could get hit by a car or something. It worries me greatly, but seeing the same pair of dogs in front of my house every day is reassuring. Dogs are survivors!
