Meet Minh Anh

Introduction:

Xin chào (hello), global learners! Today, I'd like to introduce you to my new friend, Minh Anh. She is 11 years old and lives in Vietnam. Minh Anh goes to school, helps her family, plays sports and dreams about the future, just like kids in the United States. In this interview, she shares what she eats, how she gets to school, what her house looks like, and what she likes to do after class. Let’s learn more about Minh Anh and her life in Vietnam!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, I eat fried rice, eggs, or a Vietnamese sandwich called bánh mì. For lunch, I eat rice with tasty foods like fish, shrimp and vegetable soup. For dinner, I eat rice with tofu, meatballs and cabbage. We usually have fruit for dessert.

What is your house like?:

My house is cozy and beautiful. In the living room, we have flower paintings, a TV, a sofa and a small table with a tea set. When guests visit, we drink tea with them. We also have a big balcony where my mom grows many plants. When I look outside, I can see the mountains!

What chores do you have at home?:

At home I sweep the floor, wash dishes and hang up laundry. Sometimes, I clean the bathroom. I also cook and clean my room. I feel happy helping my parents.
