My usual routine is to go from IE University, which is the northernmost I tend to go in the city. I don’t do much in this area except go to school and have lunch. The school is located in a plaza with three other skyscrapers and shops at the bottom. The southernmost I go is to the city center, which is where everything is located.
I have left Madrid a few times. I've gone to Toledo and Segovia, which are small medieval towns in Spain. Toledo is further, and we took a high-speed train to get there. I am also going to Marrakesh, Morocco on Friday, so that’ll be the furthest I will have gone so far!
I love the public transportation in Madrid. The metro is my go-to. I prefer it because it's a lot bigger than a bus and the buses tend to get more crowded. The metro is also faster and, overall, more fun!
The most interesting place I visited this week was an authentic Chinese restaurant with my friends. The server sits you down and you order from your phone. We ended up getting so much food because everything was fairly priced and looked so good. We each got about two plates, with some getting three or more.
