Hello everyone!

I can't believe it, but this is my last message. I have had so much fun sharing my time in Kenya with you!

From the busy city called Nairobi to the coast of Malindi, I saw so many new things, tried new foods and learned about different ways people live.

One of my favorite things was learning Swahilil. At first, I only knew how to say "hello." But now, I can say more words and even have little conversations! It has been so fun to learn a new language.

Teaching here has been amazing. I teach a lot of students every day and they are so kind and excited to learn. They make me laugh and smile all the time. Even though our classroom doesn't have fancy things, we still learn so much together.

At the beginning, I felt a little nervous to come so far from home. I really missed my family and my cats. But I learned something important! It's okay to feel nervous when you try something new. That's how the best adventures begin.

I am so happy I came to Kenya. This experience has taught me so much, and I will never forget it. I hope one day you get to go on your own adventure and see new places!

So instead of saying goodbye, I will say "tuonane baadaye [too-oh-NAH-neh bah-ah-DAH-yeh]" which means "see you later!"
