The farthest place I visited this week was Busan, a city about four hours away from Seoul. I went on a weekend trip with my friends, and we had three full days to explore the city.
I have plans to visit Japan towards the end of my semester in Korea. So far, the farthest I have been from campus is Busan.
My week was busy! My classes have picked up the pace, and I have reports to write and vocabulary to study. Still, I’ve had enough time to spend with friends and travel. I got around by bus, train, and Uber taxi. The transportation system in Korea is very well organized and efficient. Normally, I can go anywhere in Seoul using public transportation. Still, I had to use Uber taxi services in Busan since it is far from the capital and its bus schedule is more limited.
This week, my friend Carmen and I visited Suwon, a city a little far from Seoul. It took us about two hours to get there by bus. The main reason I wanted to explore Suwon was because some filming locations in the city were used by one of my favorite Korean dramas, Lovely Runner.
During our day trip, I did so many incredible things!
