Our News

What music did I listen to this week?:

I listened to a playlist called '100 canciones sobre Madrid' on Spotify. This playlist has 100 different songs or 'canciones' about the city of Madrid in it and was made by the Comunidad de Madrid.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

While visiting the country of Malta, I took the local bus across the island and visited a watery cave called the Blue Grotto. I also stopped by and toured two ancient historical sites called Hagar Qim and Mnajdra, which are both over 5,000 years old!

What did I read this week?:

I read articles about how the European Union is using energies like solar power and wind turbines much more than energies like coal and oil. This is called a 'green revolution' and means that our environment can be taken care of much better.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I played a card game called 'War' with my roommate. I had never heard of it before so she taught me! We played to pass the time on our train to Barcelona for a school trip.

Other news from this week:

It has been announced that Pope Leo XIV will be visiting Spain this summer. He will travel to Madrid and Barcelona in June. In Barcelona, he will spend time at La Sagrada Familia, a very famous and fantastical church designed by Antonio Gaudí which has taken over almost 150 years to build and still isn't finished!
