I always enjoy the mountain views that surround the city as we are in a valley between ranges, but it was a whole new strikingly beautiful view with those clouds.
After it rained, it stayed cloudy and windy for most of the day. We had our first "cold day," as they were calling it. To me it was still just kind of chilly because I'm used to colder weather, but for these Cali locals who are used to near-eternal summer, it was actually very cold! I was overjoyed for the brief relief from the boiling Cali sun, but I'll be sure not to get used to it!
