This week I traveled over 2,000 miles from Taipei to Singapore! This trip also took me the furthest I have ever been from home and the closest I have ever been to crossing the equator.
I started in Denver, Colorado, and then traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, which is over 7,000 miles. I have since traveled all over the island of Taiwan plus another 2,000 miles to Singapore. Sometimes it is difficult to be so far from home and my family but I have been on many adventures that make it all worth it!
This week I took an Uber to the airport, an airplane to Singapore, many MRTs (subway trains) and busses around Singapore, and then another airplane back to Taiwan.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the National Museum of Singapore. I love history but I didn't know a lot about the history of Singapore. I learned so much at this museum! For example, Singapore is an immigrant nation with tons of people who moved there from different countries around the world. It also played an important role in World War II! I love visiting new museums to learn more about the places I visit.
