I didn't have the chance to play any sports this week because I was busy trying to see everything I could in the city. Still, I noticed while I was riding on the buses that basketball seems to be a very popular pastime! A lot of apartment complexes and parks have basketball courts and they always had people playing at them. Personally, it was too hot in Singapore for me to even consider playing a sport outdoors there, but it looked like fun!
My exciting news is that this trip was such a big milestone for me since it was the first time I had visited a new country all by myself that wasn't for study or work. Every time I have been to a new country all alone, I've been going there to go to university or for a new job. This trip was just for fun! I learned a lot by traveling by myself and I am super glad that I stepped outside of my comfort zone.
