Considering that I traveled to several places this week, I have a few fun activities! The first, most fun activity this week was definitely riding electric bikes with my friends through a park in Lyon, France. This beautiful park is called the Parc de la Tête d'Or. This park is so big that it includes a zoo and a botanical garden! The second most fun activity this week was being able to enjoy the sun on the beach in Nice, France. It is quite unusual to be at the beach during the fall in Chicago, but here in France, the weather is about 75 degrees, which makes it enjoyable. Last, the third most fun activity this week was taking a boat tour in Geneva, Switzerland. The city of Geneva, with its views of the mountains, is truly beautiful.
This week, I did readings on Italian history for a few classes I am taking.
Although I did not participate in any sports this week, I was able to watch kids play soccer in a courtyard down the street from where I live. In Italy, soccer is called "football," and it is their main sport!
This week, I visited a local food market where they sell different types of meat, fish, vegetables and fruits. It was interesting to hear from these vendors talk about where their food comes from. For example, I bought bananas that came from Ecuador!
