After six months of this, my social calendar is so full of activities that I hardly have any downtime and I LOVE it. To me, this is the sign that I am truly integrated.
In my opinion, integration matters regardless if you are visiting a place for six months or for just one week. Anyone can go online and search for pictures of a place, but not everyone can tell stories about the people that they met along their unique journey.
