Hi everyone! My name is Izzy, and I have a really fun job that takes me all around the world.
I work in New York City at a travel company, where I help people plan big adventures. Some people want to see mountains, some want to visit cities, and some want to go see wild animals in faraway places. My job is to help make those trips happen, and to make sure people travel in a way that is kind to nature and the animals that live there.
When I was younger, I grew up in Houston, Texas, with my family. I didn’t move around much, but I always loved hearing stories about new places and cultures. I was the kind of kid who asked a lot of questions, like, “What is it like there?” and “What animals live there?” Later, I went to college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. That’s where I studied communication and how ideas turn into businesses. But something else happened there, too.I realized I really, really loved learning about the world outside my own home. I started traveling as much as I could whenever I had a chance.
I visited places in Southeast Asia, walked through busy cities, quiet villages, and even lived in London for a while. Every place felt different and exciting in its own way, like each one had its own story to tell.
After college, I moved to New York City.
