An Interview with Oldřich

I mostly work by myself on my computer.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I like to go rock climbing indoors! I also enjoy the circus, because we have a class in school that gives us the opportunity to study circus skills.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

Honestly, Czechs don't really keep tabs on "famous people" in the same way Americans do. We generally don't go to see a movie just for an actor.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I listen to a pretty wide range of music! As a musician, I often listen to the music my ensemble is playing. I also enjoy Czech music and electronic metal as well.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

To be honest, all I know at the moment is I would love to stay in school as long as possible! I've been greatly enjoying my studies here and hope to continue them. I've even looked at studying in Korea, as well as in the United States.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

I would really like to go to the United States, South Korea and Australia!

What do you know or think about the United States?:

I find Americans fascinating, because their way of living seems so entirely different from our own. Thinking of them often makes me laugh, because their lives seem like they are straight out of a movie.

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:

Why don't Americans have the same recycling system as in Europe? Why don't more Americans visit the Czech Republic?
